John Piermarini
John Piermarini (born September 4, 1981), is an American author, Television Casting Director, Writer, and Producer. He is the author of "What Guys Do Wrong". He is also known for his work casting top television shows including The Bachelor, Opportunity Knocks, Wade Robson Project, From G's to Gents, and Pimp My Ride. He has worked for such networks as ABC, FOX, NBC, MTV, TLC, Style, and others. John was featured on the MTV reality show Dream Guys alongside pop group Dream.
Television
After finishing High School at Diamond Bar High School in Diamond Bar, California, Piermarini attended Fullerton Junior College for two years. He began his casting career at MTV after being cast on the reality show "Dream Guys". He was brought on as a Casting Assistant for MTV's reality hit "Becoming". Within a few years Piermarini became Senior Casting Director for the network. Piermarini branched out into creating, writing, and producing television shows that both reached television and internet.
Author
Piermarini authored What Guys Do Wrong: The Real Way to Attract and Keep the Women you WANT (Rubicon Books, 2007), a book AbOUT how to not only pick up women but how to keep them happy in a relationship. The book includes InterViews with 100 females including such celebrities as Aubrey O'Day (Danity Kane), Trish Stratus (WWE Wrestler), Andrea Lowell (Playboy Morning Show/The Surreal Life), and reality stars and Playboy models, etc. The book also includes an entry from the now famous call girl "Kristen" (Ashley Dupree). The book was deemed "...the Bible for today's single men." by fellow author R. Gregory Alonzo. The book reached the top 1% of sales on Amazon.com immediately after its release in the United States.
While creating the book Piermarini briefly dated "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" star Kristin Cavallari.
