John Paul Daniel (a.k.a. BEBO)

John Paul Daniel (a.k.a. BEBO) is a folk artist from Kingston Springs, TN. In 1993 he began sculpting folk-art. He sculpts and CREATES most of his art from scrap lumber and other materials that he can find . His many sculptures include: squid, lizards, fish, snakes, gators, critters, flowers, butterflies, and many other things of that sort. The main tools that he uses to create his art are a jigsaw, a saw ,sandpaper, and sometimes a hatchet. When he creates a piece of it is free-handed, he doesn't use patterns. He loves to create art that puts a smile on peoples' FACES. His nickname BEBO came from a dream sometime earlier before he started creating his artistic animals. In the dream he was told by someone, "You are Bebo", and from then on he has kept the name as his folk-artist nickname.

John Paul Daniel has sold his artwork all over the world. Most of his art are in galleries across the nation.
