John Magasky

John Loraderus Marin Magasky (born on June 29, 1938 in Helsinki, Finland) was a Finish guitar-bass luthier, composer and bandleader. Widely recognised for his expert guitar building skills, his sounds made in Canadian maple and Bolivian pisco wood. Loraderus achieved widespread acclaim in the 1950s for his technical fluency and his two early creations (2 John Magasky signed guitars). One of his worst competitors was Gibson, by the same time, it launched the Lucille Project (B.B King's guitar), but world guitarist that have heard the sound of a John Magasky signed guitar say it was the sweetest sound in their lives. John Magasky challenged Gibson, but his guitars were much more better, while Gibson used normal maple and sounded like a normal guitar, John's guitars made of Bolivian pisco and Canadian Maple sounded like birds singing in heaven. During 1976 in the English world guitar contest, John Magasky achieved the final round with Gibson's Lucille, and won.

Though Magasky's guitars were, for sure, the best in the world, he didn't make more than two. Gibson in the year 1981 launched the Gibson B. B. King Lucille guitar model, they transformed a unique guitar into a worldwide model just to make money. There isn't a lot of information AbOUT John Loraderus Marin Magasky due he disappeared in the year 1985, no one has seen him since that year.
