John Emerson (father)
Father John Emerson is the current (as of 2007) regional superior of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter in Great Britain. He was ordained by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre for the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) but left shortly after Archbishop Lefebvre consecrated four bishops against the wishes of Pope John Paul II. He is American by birth and is based in Edinburgh. He produces a quarterly newsletter entitled Videre Petrum.
