John Bechdel

John Bechdel (born August 1, 1964) is a keyboardist, and has been a part of many bands over the years including Ministry, Fear Factory, Abstinence, Prong, [...] Joke, [...], Inc. and Brian Brain to name a few. Right now his main MusicAL focal points are False ICONS and Ascension of the Watchers.

Bechdel's sister is cartoonist and author Alison Bechdel; John Bechdel appears as a minor character in her acclaimed memoir Fun Home.

Trivia

During tours with Fear Factory, John was often un-recognised by even long time fans, as such it was often his job to go outside the venue should the band require anything, as seen when touring Australia with Static-X, in Adelaide, and John was sent across the road to McDonalds to get food for the band, with only one fan recognising him and giving him a thumbs up.
