Joey Rahimi

Joey Rahimi (born April 20, 1979) is an American entrepreneur And Co-founder of College Prowler, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based publishing company of college guidebooks and collegeprowler.com.

The company was established in 2002 as a project in an entrepreneurship class at CMU's Tepper School of Business. and Joey served as Chief Marketing Officer.

College Prowler guides entered the market by featuring brutally frank reviews that carry a ring of truth AbOUT the college campuses they covered.

He attended the United Nations International School and graduated with an International Baccalaureate. Upon being accepted into Washington University in St. Louis, Emory University, New York University, and Carnegie Mellon University, Joey decided to attend Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Joey Rahimi came to Carnegie Mellon without even visiting the campus, with two pieces of luggage, having no idea what to do. Which is what inspired his passion for co-founding College Prowler.

Rahimi was featured in Entrepreneur Magazine "Projecting Success" along with his fellow College Prowler team.

College Prowler was awarded the Fast 50 Award by Fast Company (magazine) for being one of the fifty fastest growing companies in the nation.

Joey Rahimi was also featured in Millionaire Blueprints Magazine along with his fellow College Prowler founders. This featured article describes the steps they took to turn College Prowler from a class project to the largest publisher of undergraduate content in the world.
