JJ Kincaid

JJ has the #1 Afternoon show in New York City according to the last diary based ratings book. The last time Z100 was number one in afternoon drive was 1989. His show is quite random, with phone calls from listeners who share strange things AbOUT their lives along with hit music throughout. He does the vintage cut around 2:30 each weekday, playing a clip of a song that was popular on Z100 in years past, and then rewarding caller 100 with the right answer a prize.

He often notices strange things about the songs he plays that no one else does. Such as telling Jordan Sparks that "It sounds like someone is drowning in the background of Tattoo".

JJ Kincaid was the afternoon personality on KHKS 106.1 Kiss FM in Dallas TX. He left Kiss as the number 1 afternoon show in Dallas / Ft Worth. His tenure there was two and a half years.

Before Kiss in Dallas, he hosted one of the worst morning shows ever in Norfolk Virginia (through no fault of his own) at WNVZ (Z-104). Known to his listeners as "Special Ed" he found himself surrounded by a weak supporting cast and lasted only 18 months.

Most know him from his almost 4 years at Minnesota's KDWB where he was the overnight and late night DJ from 1998-2001. He did a bit called Midnight mass where he pretended to be a priest and offered a prize to the listener with the most juicy confession.

Before that, JJ attended Youngstown State University

On September 12 2006 JJ took over the afternoon spot on WHTZ Z100 in New York City. Now just known as JJ1, he can be heard every afternoon on Z100.
