Jesse Selwyn
Jesse Lazar Selwyn, (born on April 22, 1982 in Tucson, Arizona), is an award-winning American director, producer, editor, musician, and writer. He currently resides in Los Angeles and CREATES short form content for film, television, and digital platforms. Projects include music videos, comedy shorts, commercials, branded content, and viral concepts. Jesse recently launched his production outfit Selwyn Brothers with brother Zach Selwyn, with whom he frequently collaborates.
He has created or directed spots for such companies as Comedy Central, Kodak, Discovery Channel / The Science Channel, Netgear, Ford Mustang, Fremantle Media, SABMiller, G4TV, and Sci Fi Channel (United States), among others.
On April 1, 2009, he released "White People Problems" with Zach Selwyn and Eli Braden, 1, which was considered a breakout web hit for Comedy Central and Atom.com..
Will soon release five more music videos for the company.
His piece BottleRock won the branded content competition for SABMiller and is currently running in their European campaign.
Is an accomplished musician who frequently ties MusicAL elements into his production work and performs live regularly as a guitarist.
Graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where he majored in film/television production.
