Jeff Caperton

Jeff Caperton is the President and CEO of Caperton USA, Inc. in Houston, Texas; a consulting firm which provides research and field land services to oil and gas exploration companies in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma. In addition to land services, Caperton works closely with the political lobby of several large Oil and Gas companies on the promulgation, direction, implementation and administration of national, state and local legislative and regulatory issues impacting the land professional and the Oil and Gas industries.

Caperton is also President of the Young Professional Association and Vice President of The Petroleum Club of Houston's Foundation Board.

Career

Caperton began his career in 1984 at the ABC News in Los Angeles, covering and producing stories for World News Tonight, Nightline, 20/20 and Good Morning America. In 1986, Caperton won an Emmy Award and a Los Angeles Press Club Award for his coverage of the Mexico City Earthquake. Caperton also worked closely with the White House press office, covering many trips President Reagan took, when he went to his Ranch near Santa Barbera, California.

Jeff Caperton produced a talk radio documentary called Don't Tell Me What To Think, which debuted in Fall 2008.
