Jamie Chipperfield Clubb
Jamie Clubb is a British writer, martial arts instructor and founder of Clubb Chimera.
Biography
Jamie Clubb(real full name, James Chipperfield Clubb) is an eighth generation member of Chipperfield's Circus family dynasty (source: Chipperfield's Circus: An Illustrated History, David Jamieson, Aardvark Publishing, June 1997). He was born in 1976 to Sally (nee) Chipperfield and wild animal trainer, Jim Clubb, but left their travelling circus when it ceased touring in 1983 (source: Chipperfield's Circus: An Illustrated History, David Jamieson, Aardvark Publishing, June 1997).
Published Works
Clubb is a regular writer for Martial Arts Illustrated magazine 1 and Combat magazine (source: Combat magazine, October issue 20072). He also wrote and presented "Cross Training in The Martial Arts" parts 1 and 2 for Summersdale Productions 3. In October 2007 he was the featured interviewer on the free DVD supplied for Martial Arts Illustrated magazine, where he interviewed Geoff Thompson (source: Martial Arts Illustrated November Issue 2007 4). He wrote The Legend of Salt and Sauce, which is scheduled for publication January 2007 by Aardvark 5
Martial Arts
Clubb founded Clubb Chimera Martial Arts in 2003 to "To provide a proactive holistic system of modern self-protection and life enrichment through the martial arts." Since its foundation, this martial arts system promoted cross training seminars with many prominent martial experts such as Matty Evans and John "Awesome" Anderson.
