Jaime Chambers

Jaime Chambers is an American television news reporter for KTLA/CW, a television station of Los Angeles, California. Chambers is also the grandson of legendary KTLA/CW reporter Stan Chambers.

Chambers grew up in Solana Beach, California, and attended college in Santa Barbara, California. There he studied biology, became a medic and a lifeguard, and ultimately had plans of becoming a doctor. Chambers even went to Fiji to provide medical relief. However, Chambers joined KTLA as a news intern after college. After being hired as a news assignment desk assistant in 2001, he assisting in KTLA's coverage of the events of 9/11. From this experience, Chambers decided that broadcast journalism was the career path he wanted to take.

In 2003, Chambers broke into news reporting by chance. When a small plane crashed into an apartment building in an area of Los Angeles, Chambers used his medic experience to tend to victims until The Fire Department and paramedics arrived. When news crews arrived, a KTLA reporter interviewed Chambers AbOUT The crash and the status of the victims. His impressive report of the scene moved KTLA news management to have Chambers train as a news reporter under his legendary grandfather, Stan Chambers. Currently, Chambers is a full-time reporter for "Prime News."

Chambers is the lead guitarist for the band Windsor, which also includes his older brother. He also provides vocals, and plays the bass and harp. According to the Windsor website, his nicknames are Babymaker, Babyface and Mez.

Chambers is married, and has a daughter. He is also an avid surfer and snowboarder.
