Was recently persecuted for his Christian faith in the state of Rajasthan. A violent mob of fanatics attacked Prof. Jacob Thomas after his coming out of a presentation to a group of people where he was invited to talk to young people and parents in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. Police arrested him and detained him unlawfully and a fake case was registered by some fanatics. A very worse treatment that can be given to an educationist of his calibre and credentials violating all fundamental rights and human rights of a citizen.
