Jack Nano is a character created by UK shoe retailer, Clarks, to be placed on a brand of their shoes for children and promoted in a series of commercials that were heavily featured on Nickelodeon in the UK and Ireland. The commercials featured a young boy named Jack Nano that was shrunk down to a small size and went on adventures with his insect friends.

Jack Nano are popular school shoes between British boys, however, they are often made in a trainer style, so that people can use them for weekend wear, when they are not at school.

Jack Nano shoes

There are several designs to Jack Nano shoes. For the school shoes, they are often a simple black school shoes with 'Clarks' near the heel of the shoe, there are often also designs on the shoes for boys such as triangles or circles. On a pair of the shoes, Clarks described them as Boy's black leather shoes in dyed-through leather with a protective rubberized toe guard. As part of the Jack Nano range, every pair comes with a YoToY character hidden in the heel, and triple rip-tape fastenings.

The soles of Jack Nano boys school shoes have a green figure of the character Jack Nano, with the insoles having a light lime green color with "Jack Nano" written in the insoles at the heel.
