Ivan Benjamin
Ivan Christian Benjamin (born 25 February 1962) is a Sierra Leonean sprinter. He competed in the , , and at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
He was described as a "major international talent" of Sierra Leone.
Career
In 1983, Benjamin set his 100 metres personal best of 10.5 seconds.
Benjamin entered in the 100 metres, 200 metres, and 4 × 100 metres relay at the 1980 Olympics. He ran 11.13 seconds placing 6th in his 100 metres heat, and 21.54 seconds to place 5th in his 200 metres heat. In the relay, he anchored the Sierra Leonean team to a 40.77 second time for 6th in their heat. He was also entered in , but did not start that event.
