Iran Standard and Quality Inspection (ISQI)

Iran Standard and Quality Inspection Company, also known as ISQI, is an Inspection and quality control company with headquarters in Tehran.

History and development

ISQI was founded in 1989 with the goal of improvement and establishing Quality management systems in producing and service companies. It was established by the investment of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) to act out quality policies of the Ministery of Industries and Mines of the Islamic Republic of Iran. They first started with "Technical inspection of high safety equipments such as steam and hot water boilers" and developed with "Vehicle Quality Evaluation". "Consultation and Training Services Department" was later added in 1997.

privatization

ISQI company was transferred to the private sector in December 2010.
