Intervention Records
Intervention Records is an independent record label founded in 2015 by Shane Buettner. The label specializes in high-end vinyl reissues and SACDs.
The company is owned and operated by Shane Buettner. Buettner’s earlier career was in publishing, and wrote for publications incliuding Home Theater magazine, The Absolute Sound and The Perfect Vision.
Products
Intervention Records vinyl and SACD releases are mastered in 100% analog with audio mastering work done by engineers Kevin Gray at CoHEARent Audio, Los Angeles, California and Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound, in New York City.
The company's LPs are pressed in 180-Gram vinyl at RTI, Record Technology., Inc. in Camarillo, California.
Art restoration and graphic design for Intervention Records releases is done by designer Tom Vadakan then “Old Style” Jackets are printed by Stoughton Printing in City of Industry, CA.

Artist-collaboration series
In October of 2017 Intervention Records launched a series of artist collaborations featuring limited art by different visual artists. The first of this series was a limited edition print by illustrator Jess Rotter supporting the label's reissues of Judee Sill's self-titled debut album and Heart Food. Future series artists are yet to be announced.
