History
Interdean started trading in 1959 as Dean Van Lines and changed its name to Interdean in 1967.
The company was initially led by the Ukrainian born businessman Viktor Bondarenko. Most notably Interdean was the first western owned company to provide services for moving employees to and from the former Soviet States during the period of the Cold War. Interdean’s office was located in the US Embassy and at the time was the only way to and from the then Soviet Union.
In the wake of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the company extended itself in 11 new locations such as in Kazaksthan, Ukraine and Poland to afford what is today the largest coverage of Europe.
On 1 August 2011, Interdean joined forces with the Santa Fe Group. This also permitted an opening over the Eastern market.
