Institution for Field Research Expeditions

Institute for Field Research Expeditions (IFRE) is a non profit organization founded in 2005. IFRE manages volunteer abroad programs, which are 2 to 12 weeks long.

In volunteer abroad programs, the participants contribute their labor in organizations that function to benefit the poor and deprived community of usually third world countries. In places like orphanages or schools, they will teach young students and contribute in many ways to make the organization a better place. Many volunteers have even been successful in raising funds to build infrastructures of these Grassroots Projects.

Some 2,000 volunteers participation in IFRE programs each year in 18 developing countries and underdeveloped countries. The head office of IFRE is located in Dallas, Texas, USA.

The mission of IFRE is to offer affordable and quality volunteer programs. IFRE also looks for sustainable solutions in the fields of education, healthcare, conservation efforts and development through volunteer abroad program.
