India at the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships

India competed at the 2011 World Amateur Boxing Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. A team of 10 boxers, one boxer for each weight category, was sent for the competition. Four boxers reached the quarterfinals of their respective category making them qualify for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Vikas Krishan was the only boxer to reach the semi-final of the welterweight category where he lost against the eventual winner, Ukrainian boxer, Taras Shelestyuk and settled for a bronze medal.
