History

iMetanoia was founded by Raj Majumder , who had previously worked with Goldman Sachs, Accenture, A. T. Kearney and Infosys. Raj began his operations in Bangalore in 2007 after 6 years of R&D work with a small team of 5 people and seed capital of INR 1 crore (approximately US$ 250,000).

Mr. Fred G. Steingraber, Chairman Emeritus A.T. Kearney, an international strategic and operational management consulting firm, is part of the strategic advisory board. Metanoia is a Greek word that stands for a paradigm shift of the mind.

As of November 2008, iMetanoia has grown into a team of 14 in their Bangalore office. The firm’s clientele has grown over 50 subscribers within a month of its launch. The reported turnover of the company is close to INR 1,000,000 and a profit of approximately INR 500,000 (2007 – 2008).

iMetanoia provides investors a set of web based tools to cater to its investment requirements. The firm blends freeware and subscription services to bring together Institutional-Content-Made-Main-Street-Ready, End-to-End Transactions Capability and World-class Investor Education.
