ICON-SCM is a supply chain solution provider located in Karlsruhe (Germany), Campbell (California) and Thiruvananthapuram (India). The company was founded in 1992 by Dr. Michael Keppler and Dr. Kurt Mannchen.

The software solutions provide planning and collaboration functionality and support many supply chain planning processes, like Sales and Operations Planning, demand planning, supply chain visibility and liability planning. In the high-tech industry, it is suited to best-practice business process needs.

Among the customers are HP, Western Digital, Honeywell, Sanmina-SCI Corporation, Daimler, BMW and Audi.

In the 2009 Supply Chain Innovation Award competition at the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals’ (CSCMP) annual global conference held in Chicago, September 20-23, ICON-SCM received second-place honors “A Framework for Success: Improving the Efficiency of Outsourced Manufacturing Operations.”
