ICM-Browser
ICM-Browser is a free product of Molsoft, and provides access to structural biology data and protein families. It reads PDB or alignment files directly from online databases and provides a molecular graphics environment with various representations of proteins, DNA and RNA, and multiple sequence alignments.
Supported file formats
- PDB structure files
- MDL molecular format
- Tripos mol2 format
- Tables/spreadsheets in portable *.csv or icm format
- Sequence and alignment files (fasta, swissprot, and other formats)
- Wavefront 3D objects
- ICM objects and ICM binary archives with multiple objects or molecular movies
Selected features
- PDB search engine with direct local access to all PDB files without downloading the database
- a molecular graphics tool box including multiple representations, fog effects, stereo, adjustable perspective, and multilevel selection
