In Mergers & Acquisition, the firm was involved in the intricate merger of Exxon with Mobil in Egypt. The firm acted as local counsel in representing French cement operator, Lafarge in its USD 15 billion purchase of Oracsom Building Material Holdings on the Cairo & Alexandria STOCK Exchange.
In Project Fianance / Infrastructure, the firm represented international lenders who arranged a U$D 480 Million debt facility for a B.O.T project in Egypt. The facility was used to finance the development of a new container terminal within the port of Damietta. The firm lead one of the major PPP project initiated to ameliorate the public railway transportation in Alexandria. The firm also was involved in the finance of NILESAT new satellite from international lenders headed by BNP.
In Banking Finance & Capital Markets, the firm advised in more than U$D 45 billion of capital market transactions. The firm advised international counsels in regards to an international BOND issue of a major energy distributor. The firm advised international lender a syndicate of Egyptian Banks and International Banks on the U$D 570 Million, secured, multicurrency term loan to an Egyptian Mobile Network Operator.

The advise covered the criteria for computer programs, kinetic schemes and the finding of infringement with respect to the computer program.
