Ibn - Al - Hytham Islamic School , Bahrain
Ibn - Al - Hytham Islamic School is a Government recognised expatriate institution in the Kingdom of Bahrain catering to education while adhering to the tenets of Islam. The school was formally inaugurated on 11th May 1989.
The main aim of the school is to Provide Quality Education to the Children at minimum expenses. The children can join any recognised school in India whenever they wish to leave the Island. The medium of instruction is English with Hindi, Urdu, Arabic and French are offered as Third Languages. Muslim children are taught Islamic studies and the non-muslims, Moral Science.
Shaikh Isa Bin Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa (Former Minister of Justice & Islamic Affairs and Minister of Labour and Social Affairs), the patron and chairman of the school, leads and guides the school.
Islamic ideology guides the school in all the aspects of its activities.
The motto of the school is not only to impart knowledge but also to educate and train the intellectual, moral, physical and aesthetic faculities of children. Maximum care is taken to inculcate good habits in all respects including cleanliness.
School Syllabus
The school has basically adopted the scheme and syllabus approved by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, India and as well as by the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain are also extensively used. Children who complete the age of three as on 1\st January before the school year, are admitted in the Lower Kindergarten. Children seeking admission to the first standard should have completed five years of age as on the above said date. They should also have the knowledge equivalent to those children who have completed the Higher Kindergarten Class.
