HSBRA
High Speed Broadband Radio Access (HSBRA) puts together a full state Viterbi decoding machine, a convolutional and puncturing system, a real time advanced signal equalizer, a hardware based interleaver with a real time scrambler for data whitening combined with, last but not least, some innovative digital signal processing algorithms.
HSBRA technology guarantees ultra-fast channel hook-up time, but also stable, secure and deterministic broadband connection regardless of the speed the radio is moving at; i.e. a connection between two radios powered with HSBRA can be established in just 94 microseconds: 10.000 times faster if compared to the 2–5 seconds needed when using normal Wi-Fi.
HSBRA provides any radio transceiver, that by default is a “stupid” device that either talks or listens, a better hearing, regardless of the modulation it works on. A radio with a better hearing, on equal modulation, translates into a radio that can perform better in range and provide higher throughput in much harsher environments, i.e. railway, bus public transportation up to automotive and military.
