House of Magic UK
House of Magic (UK) is one of the few bricks and mortar magic shops in the UK. It is based at Stourbridge West Midlands in the UK.
John Milner
The owner of the House of Magic (UK) shop is John Milner a Member of the Inner Magic Circle with a Gold Star.
Shop Interior
The shop was built to look like an authentic magic shop and has wooden panelled walls and floors throughout. Visitors are greeted by a life sized statue of a wizard as they enter the store. The store contains many magic tricks, books and DVD's for the beginner or the professional. The shop also sells juggling equipment.
Classes and Lectures
Magic classes are run at the shop by its owner John Milner. These are designed to get an individual started in magic, whether that person wants to pursue it as a hobby, or a profession. The shop is also well reknowed for its lectures and has visiting lecturers from all over the world.
Re-opening
The House of Magic (UK) shop was opened in 2001 by the celebrated TV magician Wayne Dobson and was later extended in 2008. The extension was then opened by the late President of the Magic Circle Ali Bongo.
