Hit and Run (punk band)
Hit & Run is a punk band from Portland, Oregon.
History
Hit & Run formed in Portland, Oregon in 2005, the final product of several short-lived projects founded by Bassist/Vocalist Ben Storm. The original lineup included Ben Storm (Bass/Vocals), Ted Ressler (Guitar, Backup Vocals) and Rex Reichenshammer (Drums). Rex left the band in 2006 and was replaced by Max (Marshall) Leggett on Drums.
The band has played live regularly since 2006, including shows with the bands Hit the Switch, The Swellers, Broadway Calls, and Shook Ones. Hit & Run recorded one CD entitled "6" with its original line up. That CD was never officially pressed and released. The band has released two CDs since the arrival of Max on drums.
Hit & Run is known for their fast, hook-laden songs. They have been categorized by some as "skatepunk".
