Hidayat Prem

Dr. Hidayatullah Akhwand (Sindhi: ڊاڪٽر هدايت الله آخوند) is the great Sindhi scholar, linguistics and research scholar. He is known as Hidayat Prem in literary world. He was born in the house of Abdul Karim Akhwand on March 24, 1946 in Ubauro District Ghotki.

Hidayat Prem got his early education from Rohri, secondary from Sukkur and higher education from University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Dr. Hidayat Prem did Diploma in linguistics from School of Oriental and African Studies, London in 1989. He did Ph.D from University of Sindh in 1995. First He was appointed officer in forest and then appointed as lecturer in Sindhi Department in University of Sindh and appointed chairmen of faculty..

Dr. Hidayat Prem wrote short stories and unlimited essays. 3 books have published yet, one of them is Sindhi boli ja muhqiq.

now he is retired professor from Sindh University and working on Sindhi language.
