HDN Productions

HDN Productions is a Southern California party productions crew. They are well known for throwing larger than life house parties, consisting of local reggae, house, funk, rock en espanol, and German techno deejays. HDN was originally known as "Instinct Productions", but decided to change their name after their first event to sound more professional.
The original group consists of three members, Brian Erickson (aka Ron Needlemyer), Andrew Tran (aka I <3 Asian Girls), and Gregory Soave (aka Instinct). More people have been brought into the HDN Family over the years, most notably, Anthony Soave, Nik Riddick and DJ Merk.
Although it is not official, most will agree that HDN stands for Hard Days Night.
The first party took place on December 28th, 2002 and was titled "Plurapalooza" poking fun at the widely known Lollapalooza festival, by replacing "Lolla" with "PLUR" an acronym for Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect.
The idea to have this was only brought up the night before mostly as joke. A flyer was made, but provided more jokes than any relevant information on the party. Even so with less than a full day of promotion, the party still was successful. Since then HDN has thrown other successful events such as Huggles, Backyard Boogie, and James BOND Fire.
