Harry Wilmer Tanner Todd
Harry Wilmer Tanner Todd'' was born in Oriente, Cuba, in February 22, 1934. Since 1984 he resides in Toronto, Canada. He develops the Painting and Film-Making. Between 1957-1958 he studied Painting in the André Lhote Academy, La Grande Chaumiére, in Paris, France.
Since 1977 to 1982 he was Member of the Group Versiones del Paisaje, in Havana, Cuba.
Individual Exhibitions
Among his must relevant personal exhibitions we can mention in 1974 Pinturas, dibujos y temperas de Harry Tanner, in the Galería L, Havana. In 1976 he exhibited Pinturas de Harry Tanner, in the Galería de Arte, Galiano y Concordia, in Havana, Cuba. In 1985 he made Esmaltes Grisaille, in the Treat Me Right Cafe, in Toronto, Canada. And in 1987 He preseneted Working Towards a Masterpiece, in the Norman Bethune Gallery, York University, in Toronto.
Collective Exhibitions
During his life he was part of many collective exhibitions, among his must relevant we can mention in 1978 Nueve Versiones Expone, in the Pequeño Salon, in the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, in Havana. In 1982 he also participated in the III Bienal Iberoamericana de Arte Domecq. El paisaje en la pintura contemporánea, in the Instituto Cultural Domecq, Mexico City, Mexico. In 1987 some of his works were selected to formed part of the Second Annual Miniature Art Exhibit, in the Del Bello Art Gallery, in Toronto, Canada. In 1993 he was one of teh selected artists to participated in the 3rd. Annual Christmas Show, in the The Alexander Gallery, in Toronto.

His work can be found formed apart of many important collections, among them we can quote the collections of the Museo de la Ciudad, in Havana, and the The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.
