Early Life
Hardboiledeggz was a band formed late 2003, begun from the disbanding of local band Edicius where Rohan and Rodel resorted to writing acoustic music and recorded a few on a desktop. Later the two were invited by guitarist Erik Kiatong of Spanish Fly and Drummer Mike Clavio of Asthinia. Together with bassist Emil Villianueva they covered songs from Extreme to Incubus.
The band went cold after a few stints and soon lost their drummer Mike to his busying schedule. They then approached veteran 7Ply drummer Joseph Navalta. The music soon took shape, and after a sound Independent EP Release in early 2006, HBE was set to try the NCR scene. Scrounging up every gig they could (Fete in June 2006) they struck luck and won the 2006 Red Horse Muziklaban Rock Challenge. Their first song Grace which will be included in the Red Horse Muziklaban 2006 Compilation.
