Grimsby Red Wings
The Grimsby Red Wings are a British ice hockey team.
The Red Wings were founded in 1932(as the Grimsby Bulldogs) making them one of the oldest teams still in operation. The team currently competes in the North 2 division of the ENIHL. Grimsby are currently one of the weakest team in the EIHA system. The team's only wins in the last few years have come against fellow strugglers Bradford Bulldogs and Lancashire Raptors.
The team operates a youth system which provide children from 8 to 18 with a chance to play ice hockey. Some of the teams costs are also covered by main sponsor, Asda.
Unfortunately, the team had a disastrous 2007/08 season, they only won twice, and conceded 235 goals.
