Greg Silverman

Greg Silverman is a Messianic Jewish and Gospel Music Recording Artist and singer-songwriter. He is the praise and worship leader at Congregation Beth Yeshua in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (a Messianic Jewish Synagogue lead by Rabbi David Chernoff). He is a music minister at Messianic Jewish Alliance of America conferences (an organization for which Joel Chernoff is the General Secretary). Greg Silverman gives Messianic concerts and Bible teachings on the Jewish roots of Christianity throughout the United States and abroad.

Silverman was born in 1975 in Ridgewood, New Jersey and was raised primarily in Westfield, New Jersey and Malvern, Pennsylvania. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in both Vocal Jazz & Gospel Music and Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (1993-1997). There he studied with African-American and Gospel Music scholar, Dr. Horace Clarence Boyer. After working as a music minister and teacher in New York City (1998-2000), he then continued his studies at Temple University, earning a Masters in Choral Conducting under the mentorship of Alan Harler (2000-2002). He joined Kesher Ministries International full time in 2004.

Greg resides with his wife and two children in Havertown, Pennsylvania.
