Gravity Wars
Gravity Wars is a video game that appeared on Amiga personal computer system sometime before 1990. It is a turn-based artillery game, which is a subgenre of strategy game. The game consists of two spaceships firing projectiles at each other using an angle and velocity. Randomly scattered planets attracting the projectiles make shots tricky. With its simplicity and aesthetic beauty it inspired re-makes with the same name. A 1992 EDition was written for Macintosh by Rhys Hollow to work as a rulebook on GameMaster gaming platform. Thankfully there are old MS-DOS, Windows, and even Linux versions scattered across the internet.
