Gordon Patton
GORDON PATTON ( Born 24 August, 1988 in Ballymoney,County Antrim ) is a Northern Irish Footballer who can play either as a forward or in Midfield. He played for Coleraine FC in the Irish Premier League and has also represented his country.
PLAYING career
Patton started is playing career at local team East End FC before joining the youth ranks at Coleraine FC going on to make his debut for the senior side at the age of 17 scoring the winner in a vital 2-1 win over Larne FC Patton also played in the 2005 milk cup where he represented County Londonderry.
Patton has had spells with English league Clubs Aston Villa FC and Sheffield Wednesday FC as a youngster but all did not end the way Patton had hoped as he was sent home. He has represented Northern Ireland at Under 18 and 19 level playing in the Centenary shield.
Gordon Patton is the Nephew of Current Coleraine fc forward David ( Davy ) Patton.
Education
Started off at local Primary school Harpurs Hill PS before moving on to Coleraine college Patton has recently started to persue a degree at Liverpool john moores University after turning down a soccer scholarship at an American University.
