Giveo is a cause marketing Software company based in Boulder, Colorado. Giveo has created a web-based software platform that enables non-profit organizations, foundations, and corporations to execute cause related campaigns using the tools of technology and marketing to reach a broader audience and engage constituents.

Giveo's platform offers social media integration, campaign measurement, analytics and reporting. They have also coupled marketing services with the platform to assist organizations in their outreach efforts with the intent of offering them the tools they need to market easily and effectively online.

History

Giveo started out under the name GIVEspot, Inc. in December, 2007. After a successful beta version and seeing the potential the internet had in bringing non-profits and their causes to a larger audience, GIVEspot, Inc. acquired the name Giveo in December 2008. Subsequently, the Giveo platform was redesigned and in January 2010, launched its first P2P beta version. After a successful beta version, Giveo launched its first B2B version.

Outlook

Giveo currently has a client base of 37 non-profit organizations, but more recently has raised $1.5 million in Series A financing in order to expand its business and client base. The financing for Giveo's future was provided by Access Venture Partners, Grotech Partners, Sentinel Trust and multiple unnamed private investors.

Giveo was recently named one of Boulder county's top companies to watch in 2011.
