Sri Guruji

Reading the Biography of Shri Giridharvani Guruji secures blesses of the Lord Shiridi Sai, along with worldly and Heavenly comfort get acquainted as to how a Sadguru is moulded in the hands of the Lord Sai Baba. All this is but the Devine Act of Shiridi Sai. Baba, in his time granted salvation to many. Sri Mehar Babaji, Sri Tajuddin Babaji, Sri Gajanan Maharajji, Sri Upasani Maharaji were moulded as Sadgurus.

Guruji has a sister and a brother. He took Master's Degree M.A (Arch), Andhra University. 27th February, 1975 was auspicious day which blessed him a wed lock with Gurumaa. Guruji used to be helpful to his father. These are the distinctive details of Guru Baba's earlier phase of life. Re-birth as Guruji (Dwizudu).

The period between 1977 and 1982 was an intense worldly suffering. As a consequence his agitated mind enquired.

"Who is God?" "Who is the supreme authority of the World?', "What is the cause of suffering?" "What is the remedy?"

During the days, when his mother was undergoing agony and pain his only desire was to liberate them from distress and lead a peaceful life with his family, he met a Aniyata Guru a master to release them from distress), Sri Narayana Baba, a devotee of Shri Shiridi Sai in 1978 at Hyderabad. Contact with Sri Narayana Babaji lead to the introduction of Sri Shridi Sai Baba. Guruji raised some following questions to get clarifications from Narayana Baba.

Essence of Sri Narayana Baba's words to Guruji is, If you worship Sri Sai Baba you will be delivered from suffering and achieve peace. This is true. Guru Baba continued to enquire.

Guruji What should I do? Sri Narayana Baba Sai is interested in you if you worship him you secure everything.

Sri Narayana Baba gifted charity of Shiridi Sai cult to Sri Giridharvani Gurudev. The method of worshiping Sai was taught to the Giridharvani couple by Sri Narayana Baba. From that auspicious moment Giridharvani couple started worshipping the Almighty Sai.

Gurumaa

Sri Gurumaa, received Baba's benedictions through Sri Narayana Sabaji. Fulfilling her responsibilities towards here parents-in-law and her family in her marital life. She gained good access with the Almighty Shiridi Sai. Only through the motivation from Baba, she derived true philosophy of Sai and Devine knowledge of Sai (Tatvagynam). Experiencing that divine radiance and blessings of Sai Baba, who is the replica of Devine providence, she preached knowledge and experience that is bestowed upon her through the enlightened teachings of Sri Giridharvani Gurupeetham, which is bestowed to them by Shri Shiridi Sai. All this she distributed to those aspirants and devotees who approached her. She suggested the ways and methods to attain peace in conjugal life and informed the procedure where one should strive to reach the supreme position Paratatwam. She is able to provide abolute peace through her teachings to those devotees and aspirants who came to her in a simple language with anecdotes for easy understanding and in a sublime style.

Attending to her matrimonial responsibilities, with the grace and mercy of the benevolvent Lord Sai, she was able to understand the philosophy of God and the self. Pursuing her responsibilities of matrimony she continued to follow cellibacy Brahmaenarya in right sense by concentrating and meditating on the celestial Lord Sai. She experienced and expressed this philosophy as a way to reach God. This is her offering to the Guru, the Lord of Shiridi. The couple Guruji and Gurumaa who gained the blessings, graces and mercy of the Devine, wish that all should grasp the philosophy of Sri Shiridi Sai through them so that all can become worthy of the Blessings of the Lord to make their life peaceful. Baba gifted Guruji and Gurumaa aniyata Guru a master in an automatic manner i.e., taken them into his fold forever.

From early childhood Gurumaa was a devotee of Lord Shiva. When her eldest son fell ill, she came to know the greatness of Sai Baba and she adored Him with veneration. After 3 years, when her husband i.e., Guruji fell ill she understood that it is not enough if she simply worships God. Unless one completely possess God only then one can easily overcome any difficulty, any problem, even immense sorrow and pain. Being motivated by this thought she started meditating for the Sadguru Lord Shiridi Sai. In the month of Karteeka, while she was worshipping ardently Lord Shiva, Lord Sai appeared to her in Lord Shiva’s form indicating her that He is Lord Shiva. From then onwards she developed her devotion vehemently. During meditation at one juncture Gurumaa had a view of Baba who said, your endeavor has not yet ripened. You need to get through many stages in your effort to possess me. When Gurumaa enquired, “ How to achieve ?” He said that He will acquaint it when time comes. While reciting the Biography of Lord Sai (Satcharita Parayana) for the 3rd time, she understood the implied meaning of Baba’s words. In that interpretation, it was understood that Shiridi Sai, the authentic teacher, is not the physical form of 3 1/2 cubits. It was told that this 3 1/2 cubits flesh is not I, investigate who I am ? knowing the formless Omniscient Lord is Sadhana. Gurumaa stated wondering, “ What might be Baba then ?” Baba himself suggested her to read Gnaneswari Bhagavat Gita. With Baba’s inspiration the first recital of Gnaneswari, Baba enlightened her with real nature of God, real nature of self and cosmic self. In this speculative endeavour she enquired the meaning about “ Antar Bahi Sarvam Narayana Stita” when Gurumaa asked Baba, How could He be inside and outside and everywhere ? Baba gave the clarification to the question saying, “The Self within you, is like the Self with in all, and is everywhere,” when this experience is known, she understood that Baba is not the form with name, but Sai is the inner Self and Supreme Self, present in every microcosm, the cosmic soul - the true Self is none but Sai alone. In this experience she perceived and felt Sai in spiritual form. Having gratified with the experience in immense devotion she also felt that, Sai that dwells in her is the universal soul that pervades in all. In innumerable difficulties, Gurumaa meditated on Sai. In that meditation, she reached the Zenith and heard Baba’s directions to leave the former path and adapt the Divine path of the God (Atma marga). From then Bhagavat Geeta became authentic.

According to a verse in Gnaneswari Bhagavat Gita

“BHAKTYA TWANANYAYA SAKYA AHAMEVAM VIDHORJANA GNATUM, DRASHTUM CHA TATWENA PRAVESHTUM CHA PARANTAPA”

Knowing God means to get fullest knowledge of God and next is to perceive God with devotion and lastly to merge in Him through the method (Tatvam) prescribed by God. Through this process we understand that Gurumaa made her life fruitful.

Automatically Gurumaa could know the spiritual and worldly matters due to mercy and grace of Sai Baba. Benedictions of Baba improved her position in spiritual matters also. In this endeavour she has undergone and endured many ordeals living in mundane and still progressed further with her mental concentration on Lord Sai. In this endeavour she came to know “ To be loved by God is very important matter.” Gurumaa says in spite of extensive endeavour if we are not loved by God, Our endeavour completes but not perfect.

In this endeavour, Gurumaa got the Radiance from the Lord. Still Baba commanded her to adopt a path, ‘ Tatvena Pravestimcha.’ He entered through Tatva and pursue her inner self to obtain it. In following the path of God Gurumaa acquired Luster, Peace and Bliss of Lord Sai, the Supreme Self.

With the blessings of Baba true knowledge of Tatwa was released through Gurumaa. Gurumaa says that it is not she who prophesies but the supreme being Sai himself dwells in her and directs. Similarly, she shows the path of Sai to the aspirants who approached her. They are indications of Lord Sai and not hers. Gurumaa says that even in directions of household matters Lord Sai the Supreme Soul exists.
