Gianni Blu
Gianni Mancini (born May 24, 1993), better known by his stage name Gianni Blu is an DJ, producer, and songwriter who began his career with his early original records featuring Chicago rap artists like Lil Bibby, King Louie, and Sasha Go Hard. After several popular house & trap remixes, Gianni veered his attention to making pop friendly Dance music. In 2016 Gianni’s single “Feeling It” received support from Martin Garrix in addition to charting on Spotify’s US & Global Viral Charts. Dancing Astronaut and Mixmag described Gianni Blu as a, “rising future house phenom” whose 2017 release “Thinking About You” featuring Kaskade collaborator Sansa, “embraces a future house production that results in an upbeat and powerfully smooth, enticing track”.
Early life

]] Gianni was born in Chicago, Illinois. The 23 year old Italian-Haitian artist began playing the violin and drums at a young age, and then transferred his interests toward DJing and producing when his creative desires expanded past the boundaries of traditional instruments. While attending Whitney Young Magnet High School Gianni decided to pursue his dream of being a dj and producer full time. His multicultural background exposed him to music from all around the world that sculpted his eclectic style that’s so prevalent in his music today. In 2016, he graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a major in music business management.
Career
Gianni Blu wrote and produced his first official single titled "Crazy" which featured Chicago rap stars King Louie, Lil Bibby, and EMP Dasme. The song quickly became an anthem throughout the city and mixes electronic elements with Chicago drill. In 2015 Gianni's single "Feeling It" was released on his imprint Building Life Uniquely. The song went on to generate over 1 million streams and was supported by Martin Garrix in addition to appearing on the Spotify Global & US viral charts. Gianni played over 50+ shows throughout 2015-16 and toured in Hong Kong, Haiti, and all throughout the Midwest frequenting clubs such as Levels - Hong Kong, The Mid, Soundbar, and numerous others.
2017:
Gianni Blu released his independent record "Thinking About You" featuring Sansa which has amassed over 2 million plays on Spotify and was featured in Mixmag, YourEDM, and Dancing Astronaut among others. The song was also featured in viral shuffling videos by Elena Cruz and Gabby David. In July of 2017 Gianni released his song "All I Wanna Do" on Spinnin' Records, one of Europes biggest dance record labels.
