GGS Public School Sangrur

General Gurnam Singh Public School, also known as GGS Public School, is situated in Sangrur, Punjab, India. It is affiliated to CBSE. It is located in Mangwal Village near Sangrur City. It was founded in 1968 by General Gurnam Singh who made a trust and denoted whole of his land to build a school. It is the only school in North India which has indoor swimming pool.

The school is located on the outskirts of the town amidst pleasant NATURAL surroundings spread over an area of 30 acres with excellent infrastructural facilities including a state of the art Knowledge Centre having two well equipped libraries and two computer labs with round the clock internet connectivity.

The school has two grounds- one football ground and other cricket ground, two basketball courts as well as a skating rink. Additional features like horse riding are coming up and is now operational. The panel of trustees include the present D.C of Sangrur District.
