Gbenga Sogbaike

Gbenga Sogbaike is a Nigerian tech entrepreneur and CEO of Plaqad. In 2019, he was named one of the 100 young African tech entrepreneurs by The Future Project, (organizers of Future Awards, and the #YTech100). At the 2019 Lagos Social Media week, Sogbaike was a speaker at the British Broadcasting Corporation’s (BBC) session on ‘Fame, Fortune & The Business of Influence’ where he shared insights on the workings and trends of influencer marketing in Africa.
Education and career
Sogbaike is an alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology. In 2015, Sogbaike launched Time&Ink, a content marketing agency but later merged with Plaqad and was named CEO of the company. After leaving Jobberman, Sogbaike worked with different brands and agencies including Black House Media. He contributes to publications such as The Huffington Post, Bizcommunity, Business2community and Glassdoor.<ref name":0" /><ref name":1" />
