Galen Partners is a healthcare venture capital and private equity firm that invests in high-growth healthcare firms already generating revenue and focuses on healthcare technology enabled services, medical devices and specialty pharmaceutical companies.
Founded in 1990 by the late William R. Grant, Galen has raised nearly $1 billion through five funds and has invested in more than 70 companies since inception. In 2006, the company relocated its headquarters from New York City’s Rockefeller Center to Stamford, Connecticut.
