Company history
FusionOps was founded in 2005 in Sunnyvale, California, in the heart of the Silicon Valley. The original purpose of the company was to extend and automate ERP-based business processes such as direct materials procurement and supplier collaboration using flexible business rules. The company has been granted patents covering composite applications technology and has filed for additional patents covering secure cloud to enterprise integration. FusionOps customers in the Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, Medical Equipment and Electronics Manufacturing segment have been using the company's solutions to automate direct materials procurement and supplier collaboration with thousands of suppliers worldwide in conjunction with their ERP/MRP systems. In 2009, FusionOps decided to focus on the on-demand business intelligence and analytics market with the release of FusionOps Insight, a business intelligence cloud for SAP that provides, within hours, dashboards with pre-built business metrics, analytics and an environment for knowledge sharing and collaboration.
