Fusient Media Ventures
Fusient Media Ventures is an American-based venture capital group.
Fusient is known primarily for collaborating with Eric Bischoff in an attempt to purchase World Championship Wrestling. The deal would be aborted in late March 2001 when Jamie Kellner, then-CEO/Chairman of Turner Broadcasting System removed WCW programming from television. The professional wrestling company would eventually be purchased by the World Wrestling Federation (now known as World Wrestling Entertainment).
Fusient was also responsible for other successful ventures, such as Classic Sports Network, which would later become ESPN Classic (named after that respective flagship network).
