Foffa Bikes
Foffa Bikes is a British bicycle assembler, founded by Italian designer and entrepreneur Dani Foffa and commercial photographer Tyson Sadlo in 2009. The company is based in London and it specialises in inexpensive steel city bikes.
History
Foffa started refurbishing and selling second-hand bikes as a hobby from his flat whilst still working in the City of London as a business analyst.
Product range
Foffa Bikes designs and assembles bikes that resemble city bikes, track bicycles, single-speed bicycles and touring bicycles from inexpensive, mostly Chinese, frames and components, claiming to be inspired by retro and Italian classic design. They offer a customisations service for fashion conscious buyers, but not the fully bespoke service offered by traditional British makers such as Mercian Cycles and Roberts Cycles. They have also supplied branded bikes to Morgan Motor Company, ASOS.com, Topman<ref name=bikebiz-100-33/> and other brands with no in-house bicycle knowledge.
