The Florida State–Georgia Tech football rivalry is an American college football rivalry between the Florida State Seminoles football team of Florida State University and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team of Georgia Tech. The schools have first played each other in 1952 and then began to play each other annually since 1992. Both universities are members of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Since the ACC initiated divisional play in 2005, the two teams have competed in opposite divisions limiting the ability to renew the rivalry. The two teams last met in the 2012 ACC Championship Game with Florida State winning 21–13.

AbOUT the rivalry
