FleshEatingZipper
FleshEatingZipper is an editorial and news website focusing on video gaming, the entertainment industry, and technology. Along with offering editorialized blogs, the site also maintains a podcast and YouTube channel. The website gained attention after covering the 2011 Phoenix Comicon, including a rant by author Max Brooks.
The website for FleshEatingZipper was launched in January 2011, but originally began as TeamXCast, a simlarly themed weekly podcast hosted by Jonathan Stephens, Rob Morris, and N Pfeifer in January 2010 and aimed towards the TeamXbox forum community. The group decided to form their own website after IGN announced major layoffs, which included the TeamXbox staff.
