Findlay first edition

Findlay First EDition (Called FFE or "First Edition") is a singing and dancing showchoir from Findlay, Ohio at Findlay High School. First Edition has won many awards in the 23 year time that it has been running. Findlay First Edition was named Grand Champion Show Choir at the prestigious National Show Choir Festival, FAME New York. The competition was held at Manhattan Center studios on 34th Street.

Sixteen show choirs from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, California, Alabama, West Virginia, and New York competed in the one day festival. All choirs performed in the preliminary round, and the six highest scoring choirs were then chosen to participate in the final round. FFE kept their streak of making the finals in every competition since 1989 alive by having the highest score after the preliminary competition.

FFE also won the following caption awards: Best Vocal Sound, Best Choreography, Best Horn section, Best Instrumental Combo, and Best Show Design. Eric Kerns was the Overall Outstanding Male Soloist and Tyler Hamlin was the Overall Outstanding Male Performer.

The Grand Championship trophy is the sixteenth National Award in First Edition's twenty-three year history, and 9th in the last 10 years.
