FG Intermediat College Jhelum Cantt
FG Intermediat College Jhelum Cantt is one of the best educational institution in the city. It is located near the St. John's Church in Gul Afshan Colony, Jhelum Cantt, Pakistan.
History
College was started in August 2001 in the FG Public School for boys Building with the efforts of then Div Commander Maj Gen. Masood Aslam (Now Lt. Gen and Corp Commander Peshawar). With three classes and a very short staff with the leadership of a principal like of a Leader or like of a father. The college showed itself in the first year of its birth by giving outstanding results and astonishing everyone. The work on new College building started and was completed in no time and the classes were shifted in the new building in the same year. The college faced real hardships at the start as there were shortage of staff and there were no Lab facilities for the students were available except the Computer Lab. The Computer Lab at FG was the only thing for the college at the start to show of and it was established there by Pakistan Institute of Computer Sciences (PICS) Jhelum with 25 Pentium 4 Computers. At the start college also offered several Computer Courses facility for the people of Jhelum.
Despite the earlier hardships the students were too committed to the studies they not only overcame these problems but also showed there guts in the examination.
The first batch of the college was hosted in 2001-2003.

College offers intermediate in three major fields of science i.e Pre Engineering, Pre Medical and Computer Sciences. College is affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad.
