Feena Bonoan
Feena Bonoan (born August 10) is an artist, writer, filmmaker, and US Navy Veteran. She is the Libertarian Party candidate for United States Senate from Hawaii in 2022.
Biography
Early life
From childhood, Feena enjoyed music. She grew up listening to sounds from Motown to grunge. In high school, she started to explore theatre and film.
While in high school, Feena also worked in her aunt's print shop. This is where she first started to get an eye for detail in media.
Military Experience
On July 5, 2006, Feena went to the Marines recruiting station. She was told that the Marines were out golfing, but if she did not mind not getting shot at, she could join the Navy for creative content production.
Political career
Run for Hawaii State Senate District 20
In 2020, Feena ran as a Libertarian for Hawaii State Senate. She received 28.2% of the vote in the general election in November 2020
