Fastflow Pipeline Services, which is usually known more simply as the Fastflow, is a major utility services providor in the North East of England

History

Fastflow Pipeline Services was formed by Northumbrian Water to provide services internally to the company. Fastflow split from NWL in 2005 after a management buy in, Fastflow has since 2005 developed its own internal resources.

Events

Fastflow Pipeline Services was acquired in 2005 from Northumbrian Water. Fastflow's aims are to provide services for the growing UK utility market. FPS which is now a part of The Fastflow Group along which GWE Utility Solutions provides services to utility companies and developers.

Fastflow's main client is Northumbrian Water to which it provides various services and has provided services to NWL's sister company Essex and Suffolk Water. Fastflow has recently developed a new Trunk Mains Cleaning System for which it received an award from the UK Society for Trenchless Technology UKSTT.
